Questions from
the other side.

Is this a race?+

Kind of. There may be a prize for the first runner. But it is still an informal, self-supported fun run. There is no timing, road closure, aid station, or on-course support. Run, walk, haunt, or float along at your own pace.

Will the course be marked?+

No. There are no official course markings, so please follow the provided route and know where you are going before you head out.

What should I bring?+

Bring everything you need for a safe night run: a headlamp, water, reflective or visibility gear, and weather-appropriate clothing.

What am I responsible for?+

You participate entirely at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety. Come prepared, follow the route, obey traffic laws, and make good decisions out there.

What if I can't run at 6 PM?+

There is an unofficial 6 AM start time. After you complete the run, stop by and get a sticker instead of a medal.

Is there a medal?+

Yes, if you complete the 6 PM run and show exactly 6.66 miles on your GPS device.

Will there be scares?+

Maybe. We are looking for volunteers to help make the route a little scarier, so let us know if you are interested.

Is this really free?+

Yes. This is an informal neighborhood run, but donations are welcome to help offset the cost of medals.
